I have a couple of audio teleseminars on the right side tab of this blog that might help you to promote your art.

Art is like anything else that people buy - they buy for specific reasons and generally those reasons fall under a few catagories:

Will it make me money (rich)?
Will it make me happy?
Will it make me laugh (entertainment value)

Always try to think of what your art will do FOR your intended buyer.

This is one take on it. I like it. I wish I knew how to reach others who'd feel the same. My challenge continues to be how to promote my art in a way to get others excited about what it can mean to them.

Kathie - it is very hard to sustain belief in creativity in a world that does not value it.

If these people I spoke of in the post are right then maybe that is changing.

But it still takes a lot of determination and courage to forge ahead in a creative career and for me my driving force was my passion and my love for my art. If the passion is not there no amount of determination can be generated.

The question to ask her is this: do you love it? Because you will sacrifice a lot for things you love. And you will take more chances!

Makes me wonder why one of my daughters won't use her creativity - did a teacher or two knock her down during her school years? Her father and I are always trying to get her enthused, motivated, and to have self-belief. She has a lot of talent but just doesn't use it.
